What It Feels Like
Slow. Trust-based. Relational.
Together we honor what is possible now—without rushing, forcing, or overengineering.
As the turtle teaches us: slow and steady wins the race.
If you have a gift, give it now.
MVX helps bring that gift—your story, your idea, your intention—into the world as a gathering that offers Love and Beauty to others.
What MVX Offers
I walk alongside you as a collaborator, not an authority. My role is to help you bring your gathering or activation to life with vibrancy, clarity, and meaning, even when resources, time, or certainty feel limited.
You bring your intention.
I bring structure, facilitation, creative design, and deep relational care.
Together we create something honest, impactful, and doable.
Minimal Viable X (MVX)
A simple, intentional first step toward creating meaningful gatherings.
The mandate of MVX is to platform Love, Justice, and Beauty in an aching world—not through large, polished events, but through gatherings that are alive, relational, and possible right now.
MVX is inspired by the concept of the “minimum viable product.” Instead of waiting until everything is perfect, we co-create a minimal viable gathering: a first iteration that carries the heart of your intention and invites learning, emergence, and connection.
It is the opposite of overproduction. It is spacious, human, and responsive.
How MVX Works
Every MVX engagement follows a simple, adaptive process:
Purpose Discovery
We clarify the heart of your gathering—what you want to honor, explore, celebrate, or transform.
Prototype Design
We co-create the simplest, most meaningful version of your gathering—lean, intentional, and powerful.
Facilitation & Hosting
I support or lead the gathering itself, creating a grounded and welcoming space for participants.
Reflection & Next Steps
We learn from what emerges and explore whether you want to deepen, repeat, or expand the experience.
Who MVX Is For
Individuals marking a life transition
Small groups and communities wanting to gather with purpose
Organizations experimenting with culture-building rituals
Anyone feeling called to create meaningful connection but unsure where to start
The sharing of joy, whether physical, emotional, psychic, or intellectual, forms a bridge between the sharers, which can be the basis for understanding much of what is not shared between
them, and lessens the threat of their difference.

If you have a gift, give it now. This is not a time for any of us to hoard or hold on to things that can benefit us all, so give your gifts with energy and unconditional love.
Leadership is a concept we often resist. It seems immodest, even self-aggrandizing, to think of ourselves as leaders. But if it is true that we are made for community, then leadership is everyone’s vocation, and it can be an evasion to insist that it is not. When we live in the close-knit ecosystem called community, everyone follows and everyone leads.

I approached Joshua with zero idea of what to do. I had many doubts about life & recent sad experiences such as death of loved ones, health, trauma, etc
He listened and intuitively connected all the dots, wove together fragmented stories. He found a life giving aspect deep within me for me to land towards transformation.
I did not want to do this alone - for loneliness had been an all-too dominating life-deadening personal theme - He created an event by rallying community support around me. He took care of all logistics.
On the day of the event, he led a ritual using a beautiful singing bowl, passed around the sharing circle to drawn on, create safe space where everyone was supported in one's authentic voice. After the sharing circle, the fun birthday celebration began.
Connecting my life-doubting dots, Joshua carried me and shifted me to land in new life-affirming territory.
Joshua - funky, heartfelt, smart, witty, compassionate, organized, experienced, trusted, ritual celebrant
Joshua = alchemy.

Joshua has a rare gift for bringing people together with warmth and intention. I had the honour of collaborating with him to create an intimate pop-up choir, an evening that was meaningful and alive with connection.
Throughout the process of creating and hosting the gathering, Joshua encouraged me to step into my own power as a facilitator, reminding me to trust my instincts and talents. Working with him was grounding, inspiring, and deeply collaborative.
Joshua’s vision and steady presence create spaces that glow with presence and shared spirit. If you’re looking for someone to support your work with care, intention, and heart, Joshua is that person.

Josh has a rare talent for designing gatherings with deep intention that leave people feeling inspired and provoked while building deep community connections. Having hosted an event with him (Heal With Music), I know he delicately and thoughtfully weaves art, music, poetry, and photography into bespoke events that create space and safety, (any and all) emotions, learning, kinship and hope. The way you bring people together is an art in and of itself. I'm excited for you to continue touching people with your event design and facilitation gifts.

I think what’s often missed in our groups, communities, and organizations is the value of intentional followership and I’ve witnessed Joshua support others’ ideas and projects because he offers and steps into followership in such thoughtful and passionate ways. It’s an under-developed and under-appreciated skillset that flows so naturally out of him. In order to be successful in this way, I see him bringing generative listening (the 4th level of listening after downloading, factual, and empathic listening) to almost all of his conversations from one-on-one friendships to large group gatherings. Each opportunity to converse with him invites deeper reflection and more actionable steps coming out of that conversation.
